Our Story
Founded in 2014 by Kristin Sheeler, NIBI-MTK is more than just a fashion brand—it’s a reflection of Montauk’s effortless coastal style. Inspired by travel, nature, and the laid-back spirit of beach living, our collections embody bohemian luxury with a modern edge.
Kristin’s background in fashion—spanning leadership roles at Ralph Lauren and Abercrombie & Fitch—shaped her unique aesthetic: a blend of vintage elegance, artisanal details, and easygoing sophistication. What began as a swimwear collection soon evolved into a full lifestyle brand, offering a curated selection of apparel, accessories, and home goods.

A mix of an art form and a technique, hand block printing utlizes intricate designs that are hand carved on blocks of wood. The blocks are dipped into natural dies that are then pressed onto fabrics, creating a stunning and unique look.
Block prints are done by eye, and telltale signs of the human hand. Even the imperfections are part of the humanity and beauty of the craft that we continue to include in our Nibi collections year after year.
